My question - has anyone had any experience with the Gillette Nacet blades?  good bad or indifferent.  I'm trying something different

Average blades IMO...the first shave with them is always lively...so I would recommend corking + hand stropping and taking
it slow

Everyone reacts differently to blades; very personal. That being said, Nacet is my favorite blade. I have a few hundred stockpiled Smile

As stated by others it's YMMV. For me Wizamets are King but Nacet are great for me too and have a few hundred as backups to my @1,000 Wizamets.

I agree with Tester28 and found them lively at first.

Sharp, smooth, in a mild razor Nacets are great.  They are what I consider a smooth, slightly less sharp feather.

If you have tried Gillette Platinums (made in Russia) they are similar, just a little sharper and maybe a little less smooth.

They are worth trying.  clearwavy If you are in the US PM me your address, I’ll put some in an envelope and mail them out.

Sharp and smooth .
One of my favorite blades .
Better suited to mild or mid-aggressive razors.
