Got a link for those schicks? The ones that came with the razor work just fine but I'm always down to try different blades.

Here are some on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Schick-Injector-B...B001E6VHUQ

I can usually find them at my local drugstore (for a little bit more money though). They are pricier than the Personnas, but I find them to be sharper, smoother and longer lasting. I've yet to try any vintage injector blades, but I've heard some of those are even better.

Congrats drdeemanda ! I have the v1 and love it as well! As for the blades, I don't mind the Ted Pellas. The Chicks are definitely sharper and the link wyze0ne sent is a really good price...28 blades for $18.50.

Hope you continue to enjoy your new SE!

ive been using this razor off and on since it arrived and would definitely recommend it. this is the razor that i reach for when i need a comfortable shave quickly. i dont have to worry too much about technique with this razor and is so easy to use that i can probably shave with my eyes closed. if you get it, i would make sure to get the aggressive plate as well.

what are your thoughts on being the first one here? Smile

I tried it once but the con artist ran off with my bribe.

I never did receive my order.

Had V1 don’t think I gave it enough shaves before moving it along. Got V2, spent a week with it and it’s a keeper. Using the Chinese Schicks and getting absolutely great shaves with it (with the medium plate). Threw in the aggressive plate...I think I need more time with it...

Again....I’d love to know what’s new/different about V2, aside from coatings....

I have both Version 1 (V1) (with 3 plates) and Version 2 (V2) (only the #2 plate), in the polished finish. IMO shaving V1 with the #1 plate was too mild and the #3 plate was too aggressive. I found the #2 plate to be the sweet spot for this razor. The V2 loads the blade better than V1. V2 (Metal Injection Molds) is made differently than V1(Machined?). V2 has a slightly different blade seat geometry and blade guard. The V2 definitely is improved over V1and provides a better shave. I think the production tolerances are tighter and the razor architecture and blade geometry on V2 are improvements over V1. There are not many "new" injector razors, and I do enjoy shaving with the Supply in my rotation. It is a well designed quality stainless steel razor.

The V2 Supply is the worst razor I have ever used. My face wants a divorce tonight.... Back to the Rockwell 6S and OneBlade for a few weeks.

Which plate and blade are you using? I get great shaves from mine - as good as my OneBlade. I didn't like the Personna blades that it comes with though - they were rough for me.
