My CD soundtrack is almost worn out, it gets played a lot. This was a long overdue release on vinyl.
All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

Right there with you on the album influencing later musical choices. I got really into the kinks because of this album as well as the Darjeeling Limited soundtrack; say what you want about Wes Anderson movies but he's got exquisite taste in choosing songs that fit his movies.

Well he was a topical satirist and also a mathematician from Harvard. I grew up up with it from my Mom and my Mom also bought the first Beatles albums and played them all the time. She set the paradigm for me!
