Every time listen to 'Dogs' reflect on how Waters must have felt at finishing final cut. Good God, he had to have recognized that they created one of the greatest anthems in rock history. 'Pigs', what can one state that is more powerful than calling out the wealthiest man on Earth, Brit PM, and society leader of UK - by names? 'Sheep' is disappointing but intentionally so as the public typically fails to slaughter their oppressors when the opportunity arises and so comes to be exploited again - too stupid to wrest power once and for all; hence disappointing

Started listening while shaving this morning but finished while rolling up the highway from Springfield MO to St Louis. Missouri offered a most spectacular sunrise!

I couldn't help but smile, even though the opera is a tragic story, because it reminded me of hearing Pavarotti's delightful performance as the Duke.

Rigoletto is a fav.
Gershwin's An American in Paris, performed by the Seattle Symphony, an energizing piece. The story is that when this premiered in NYC in 1928, Gershwin imported some actual Parisian taxi horns to lend the performance authenticity.
