This morning I shaved somewhat late and ended up accompanied by a live performance from the NY Met of Verdi's opera 'Rigoletto' on the classical radio station. I couldn't help but smile, even though the opera is a tragic story, because it reminded me of hearing Pavarotti's delightful performance as the Duke.

Montagues et Capulets among the top power works of (neo)classical symphonic music. Prefer context of it perormed within the ballet but always rousing, eh?
