Not too sure Dan, my Pops said; Chicago Stadium Easter Sunday, Page got sick at the show on Saturday night but rocked it out on Sunday. I remember him saying Page had on a Nazi uniform and I know for certain he didn’t go home and tell my Grandparents that (they fled N Italy in 39 or 40)

didn’t Robert plants kid die in a crash or was sick in that era?

I’d call my Pops but he’ll have me on the phone for more time than I’m willing to give, lol, love the dude tho

Rock bands come and go but, to those that stand the test of time, very, very few can pull it off like Led Zeppelin.

Yeah, I’m a Zeppie.....
Zep is the greatest.
They played everything and did it like they invented it.

Hard rock, blues, classical, balads, epics, folk, country, caribbean (D'yer M'ker), jazz, eastern... You name it.

There are a lot of bands I LOVE, but few (if any) truly have the diverse pallet that Led Zeppelin do.

Now that is impressive. Cool dad! Wow. Greatest RnR band of all time.

Not really a big fan of plant's voice, but their music was at another level. Ahead of their time - nothing else even close

John, although I have to look up 97% of this music, it’s pretty amazing stuff! I know some of the names and contributions because of college music classes but for the trained ear I know this music is heaven.

I went with this one... at 2:35 Alexandra cranked up the volume and this piece is crazy powerful! It just makes you FEEL happy! We were laughing so hard we couldn’t explain to each other why!

Thanks for sharing the above, wouldn’t have found this piece otherwise! Cheers!

It is joyful indeed. The musicians sure look like they're having fun.

The Man with the Golden Flute. Always has seemed a bit overly-expressive to me, which is fine for the Bach.
