Muhle R-41 London Titanium Birthday Shave

This morning was the third shave with the Ti R-41. I used the same Feather blade and really enjoyed the shave, and the stellar results.

The first shave, 3 days growth, new Feather, I didn't know if I liked the razor or not.

The second shave, same Feather blade, 2 days growth, I leaned towards not liking the razor.

This, the third shave, 3rd use of the Feather on 2 days growth I liked the razor very much. 

I normally toss a blade after the third use, but I'm going to try it for a fourth go round next time out. Maybe tomorrow and see how it feels with one days growth.

So far it's a winner.

65gm is an ideal weight methinks....please try a few other blade brands if you could.
A wizamet would be nice.

I guess this was the fifth shave, maybe sixth with the Muhle Ti. I felt adventurous, so ... I took the top cap from my 2011 R-41 and used it with the 4th go of a Feather blade. Was doing 3 days growth, and the 1st pass was so close (and smooth) that I almost called it good.

RInsing off I felt a bit of stubble residue on the neck and under the jawline, so did a 2nd pass ATG. I wish Muhle would've done a happy medium top cap between the 2011 and the 2013 version. Anyway .... for you viewing pleasure;
