Razor: The Karve Overlander brand: 76 shaves. The break down is stainless steel 43, brass 21, aluminum 12. This was followed by the Tatara Masamune at 51 shaves, and the Vector at 39 shaves.
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome 94, Schick injector 61, and Personna PTFE GEM 39
Soap: I decided to use up some tubs purchased in 2021, so Mike's Natural Unscented had 66 shaves and Stirling Unscented with Beeswax had 57 shaves
Brush: Trotter Supernova with an APSCo Independent 24mm fan was used 28 times, followed by an Ever-Ready 836 with a Shave Forge 22mm High Mountain White badger knot.

Just out of curiosity, do you find the shave/smoothness of the SS Overlander to be similar or the same as the brass?

Dave in KY you can always keep it nice and simple.  Here's a screenshot of what I use.  Obviously, you could add/delete whatever fields you like.  I used to track whether I used alum, balm, witch hazel, bowl or face lather, etc but it got to be a little overwhelming.  Plus, if I do forget to log something, I can go through the pix on my phone and update the spreadsheet.  One of the nice features for Excel is that it will recognize what you have previously typed into a column and auto-fill.  That way, you don't HAVE to have an inventory of your den (but seriously, why wouldn't you do that, I mean it's a lot of fun to categorize all that shave gear Smile)

Another nice thing about this format is that you can use it to figure out simple calculations.  Or, set it up as a Table and let Excel do all the heavy lifting for you.  Once you learn to work with PivotCharts and Tables, things get really fun with Excel!

Happy New Year, everyone!  I haven't posted here much but I have been a lurker!  My plan is to remedy that for 2024!

My most used gear for 2023 is as follows:

Razors:  WR1 .74 OC - 84 uses
Blades: Nacet - 31 uses
Brush:  Shavemac D01 3 band 22/46 - 35 uses
Soap/AS: Tabac - 49 uses

Most common razor blade pairing was the WR1 .74 OC with a Wizamet for 18 uses!

Razor - RS10 (it was close with the Athena)
Soap, Splash and Lotion - Ethos almost exclusively
Blade - Personna Platinum (made in Israel)
Brush - Rudy Vey with Shavemac 2 band knot

For next year I’m selling off a lot of razors and soaps I am not attached to. I spent today taking inventory, so I know where to focus.

Out of curiosity, which Shavemac 2-Band?

I think I have 12 brushes Rudy has made for with Shavemac’s.  I had one D01 2 band, but it was too much backbone and face feel.

The rest are 2 band silver tip and a mix of bulb and fan ranging between 20-26mm.  I prefer a 24 for most.

I also have one 24mm Manchurian white badger.  Love that brush from him too!
