mosquitos

I've bought citronella plants, which are hard to find in Houston as the summer begins. I place them outside near where I'm going to smoke, but I shake them 20 minutes before to release more of an odor. Gives the fumes time to circulate and for bugs to leave the area. I've had reductions of bites from 10 to 1. But, I don't keep the plant close, due the cigar fumes will wither the plant leaves.
