Don't you have anyone living nearby who can pick up the package?

When we are away, a responsible teenage girl from across the street comes over to feed the cats, clean the litter box, bring in mail from the box, and retrieve any packages on the porch. She knows the code to open the front door.

Even if you do not have someone whom you trust to enter your home, surely there is someone who could pick up the packages outside your door and hold them until you return.

If someone were to steal the package, they would probably toss it as soon as the opened it and found shaving accoutrements.

I know that Amazon has their program that allows a driver to leave packages in the garage or front door if you have a suitable electronic lock or garage door opener., but I do not think UPS does.

Would UPS still charge to be held at a UPS store? I had a package transferred via FedEx to a hub store with no charge. Hopefully UPS would do the same
