Menthol and mint soap replacement

So....I can still it find the actual “smell” per se. But I have come up with an alternative for the interim. I bought the 3 lb. bag of Menthol crystals and put them into a grinder. I took a clean smell soap like Arko or whatever and ground some Menthol into the soap mixture. But, I found out that a little goes a long way. It was painful one time. As I did 6 turns of the grinder and the Menthol was just FLOWING! Lol. Now I limit to two to three turns. But now I can make any soap a mentholated Barbershop varieties.

That’s what gave me the idea.... I’ll see if I get the link to work. It’s a lot cheaper.

I hear ya on cheaper but as you've found, 2 oz of menthol crystals will last a long time. Thus for me I didn't feel like going the DIY route. Besides, had an order in for some CK -6 soaps, added it to the order, and presto, I'm as cold as Admiral Bird on his trek to the north pole. Cool to find another menth head and I enjoy your posts. Keep em coming Ramjet!

I bought 4 oz a few years ago and have played with it a lot. I can't get over your 3 lbs!

Rod at Stirling told me that they are releasing a product around late June to mentholate soap. I assumed its a liquid, but he didn’t say.
