I really like this scent. They really nailed the vibe they were going for. The raspberry is not too strong and almost has an effervescence to it, with just the right amount of sweetness and woody notes.

Old Strathcona is a masterpiece. I am using the bath bar and I can't put it away! It is going to be one of only a few scents that I buy from them only because I am in love with the scent and can't imagine using anything else(depending on the season only).

How is the base?   I’ve heard great things.

Base is great. Makes a dense low structure lather. I put it up there with my favorites from B&M and GD....but it is on the softer side, more like DG.

I only wish the base was more firm.

I agree here, its very easy to load way to much product if you puck load.  But other than that it's an amazing base.

I scoop out a bit, usually too much and smear it in a bowl and lather there.  It's a top tier base in my opinion. I'm not sure but I think Autumn Cabin may be my favourite scent - that isn't bay rum that is.
