They don't need tallow.

Poutine sauce is better.

I do like my soap aged. Have enough problems getting through 4oz. tub. Can only imagine a whole wheel.

Glad to have provided a laugh or chuckle to you all.  And you all made me laugh too!  Glad to know I am not the only one walking around thinking about my next shave...instead of the worries of work, or life in general.  I imagine we all have enough of those moments, too, in our lives.  I am finding this new obsession a nice distraction that has the benefit of keeping me looking good!

I am with you MaineYooper. I used to dislike shaving- every other day if at all possible, never on weekends.

Since I started wet shaving some 11 years ago it has become one of my favorite times of the day. Zen like and completely in the moment- no stress, the ritual getting me centered.

PS surprised nobody has mentioned grating their soaps yet Smile

Great post Kevin, I hated shaving too when I used the Mach-3 and the canned gel crap. I could only shave every other day too, and never on a weekend. By the way I do grate up my tallow based shave sticks when they get worn down to the plastic holder. They get grated into the Frankensoap tub. I've gotten some great shaves out of that tub.
