I saw that too, about 15 days ago, when I ordered these:



I figured, WTF. Go ahead, I said to myself,  and judge a book by its cover if you must, but do not - repeat NOT - judge Lisa's soaps by their labels.  

Went ahead and got in shave #2. Just a really resfreshing and cooling shave. The performance really goes up a notch with a cold water shave and rinse. Menthol chasers will not be disappointed with this one. Again, not a face freezer but, more of a controlled cooling sensation that lingers for a bit. I’m really liking this one from Lisa’s.
Oh, and the new label too for those who were wondering when the change was coming....

A forum member was kind enough to send me a nice sized sample of the Doc Holiday scent. While I absolutely love the scent I just can't seem to get a good lather (used 3 times now). Post shave has been OK but not on par with the soaps I would consider my best ones.

I ordered a couple more tubs of Lisa’s Artisan soaps. 2 newer scents that have come out recently. Isle Of Skye and Ouzoud. The scents on both are intriguing with Isle of Skye being a bit citrus like with Bergamot and lime being front and center of the tub. Once I start lathering we’ll see if the other notes like Lavender, Oakmoss, Black Pepper and Oud make an appearance. The Ouzoud is an interesting one as i don’t get much except for a very soft rose, wood and semi earthy scent tone to it. Again, Looking forward to lathering it up and perhaps more of the scent notes listed will come through. Both are beef tallow based with sheep milk added. First up will be the Ouzoud for tomorrow mornings shave. Will post initial thoughts on it after the shave....

She told me last Nov. that she had some new scents "in the pipe" and I now I see.

Every single time I glance at her website looking for Florida Freeze it's out of stock!!   It must be great stuff, so I ordered a sample as well as one of her new scent Yulin. FWIW, she said no more tubs of Florida Freeze for three months.

I haven't seen Coconut Oud for a while - not even samples.

Her new scent Yulin is out of this world and smells almost exactly like the discontinued Phoenix & Beau Citra Royale of which I had a sample a few years back. It is IMO her best scent out of five I have smelled. Buy w/o hesitation. 

Here's her description:

Mentholated. The scent is fresh, sweet, woody and earthy. It is an essential oil blend of patchouli, cedarwood, eucalyptus, and spearmint.
