Looking forward to the 0.80 plate review.

Atelier DURDAN : The only remaining questions are:
- When will it be available for sale?
- What's the expected retail price?

The info you are looking for can be found on the first page, post #17 I believe.

Thanks, pleasantly surprised to see it on sale already!

But with the price being squarely in Blutt territory it makes it harder to pick over the Blutt, only because of the unknown factor it currently has.

Looking forward to your 0.8 opinion Smile

I think the stainless steel version is still cheaper then the Blutt. Anything made in Switzerland is going to be much higher then anywhere else in Europe.

I've never understood the complaints about posts being on the baseplate. I've never had an issue loading a blade this way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I actually like it, for me it's easier to clean and indeed I have to trouble loading...

In SS it's 225€ vs 247€ (if I'm not mistaken).
That's essentially identical, at those amounts.

To be clear, I'm not saying Le Maurice isn't worth it - I haven't used either of them so couldn't say either way.

But the Blutt at least has some brand recognition at the point and is known for its superior (best?) blade clamping, so the value proposition is much more obvious with the Blutt.

Hi Augustin,

I would like to outright buy a stainless steel 1.2mm gap razor with an extra 1.0mm gap baseplate. I would also prefer the razors to be machined without bead blasting.

As I am in Singapore, and it's not feasible for me to be in the passaround, do let me know if I can just buy it outright from you Wink

Thank you.

Hello Clumsybull.  Posts like these three - where shavers help each other out - are the bread-and-butter of DFS.  They happen all the time, many times a day.  Other than that, we kid and commiserate with each other, and otherwise build a strong community of e-friends.  That is what DFS is all about.

Welcome aboard.
