I have to jam off to work but when I get back later I will respond to some of the other comments I saw above. I'll take some time to mention that the containers on the second picture are all ceramic and my preferred one is the low profile black one as it's a bit on the wider side, maybe 4.5 inches and it is perfect for loading up and is low enough that the brush handle doesn't hit some high sided walls. P.s.-Not sure I will be buying any more containers at this point. Probably will just make a few more as soaps come out or switch everything out of the tins. I actually don't mind the tins at all and I don't mind the refill PET containers either. I'm really just into getting that dang soap puck so I can shave with that nice, milled soap. The Dolomiti fragrance is FANTASTIC!
I need to try this method, as it would be similar to what I’m doing with every other soap or cream that I have. Also, I agree on the scent of Dolomiti, and all the Saponificio Varesino scents I’ve tried are pure class! They may not always be very strong, but they are always masterfully composed. zaclikestoshave, looking forward to your continued observations. Smile

Will briefly add one of mine. Many would look at the price of a puck of SV and dismiss the soap based on that. However, the standard SV soap size is over 5 ounces. And that doesn’t yet take into account consumption. I normally use 1.5–2.5 g of most other soaps and creams, per shave. For the triple-milled Saponificio Varesino, that number is around 0.5–1.0 g per shave.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

[Image: X3Ls6jT.jpg][Image: DT9b5wC.jpg]So I still have Dolomiti stuck to the bottom of my lather bowl, and after using it again today, still plenty in there...so I will use it again Thursday.

I actually was not going to shave again today, but a pal wanted me to try these vintage Wilkinson blades that come out of this style.  I must say that the initial shave was absolutely OUTSTANDING!  The Brits were doing it right from the mid 60s to early 80s as far as the Wilkinson blades go!

Today’s lather was great, and I really really like the Hemingway aftershave!

Hope all are well, and nice bowls/containers Zack!
