A while back when there was the big discussion of the Vikings Blade Emperor series of TTO adjustable razors, I had a long and detailed discussions with their rep that was active on this forum. One of the things we talked about was what eventually turned into the Meiji razor (a short handle Emperor series razor), but another thing that was mentioned was that they had found a Chinese manufacturer that would stay loyal to them and had stainless steel sintering capabilities and they were working on something. It seems that something finally was introduced. It is a version of the Godfather called the Stonehenge with a stainless steel handle and top cap but with a beefed up flat bottom that is cast zamak. Listing to folks that thought the original Godfather handle was too slippery, they seem to have roughed up the finish a bit. Looks interesting, but right now I am on razor restraint.

That safety bar on it looks quite interesting.

I just received the Viking Blades Godfather Stonehenge edition razor.  About five shaves with it so far, and I really like it.

It is a mild razor with great weight. Very substantial with a solid feel.  Quality seems very good.  This was my first Vikings Blade razor and it won’t be my last.

I also purchased a Vikings Blade stand and brush.  All very nice.
