Recording delivery time. Greece to my front door in 4 days. This razor is every bit as extravagant and excessively machined as V1. Shaving is a subjective experience, but Theo is the only artisan going this extra with his razors. The hardwood case, laser inscriptions, polishing under the cap. I’ll compare it to my Athena in the next post.

Beautiful razor but really looking forward to your take on the shave. Is it brass?

Nickle aluminum bronze alloy. Likely c63200 ( not confirmed). If so I specify a very similar metal for flooring elements such as walkoff grilles. Corrosion resistant to salt and water and highly durable. Won’t ugly patina.

So had two shaves with it. First one on 24 he growth and the second with 4 day growth.
The good:
It’s a remarkable razor aesthetically. The alloy is perfect a perfect choice to bring all the beauty of bronze with significantly less patina and more durability of straight bronze. The machining, etching, and finishing is top tier. The grip is good. Knurling wouldn’t suit this razor. It’s like a grippier blackbird handle (though my satin blackbird is grippier due to the finish). The walnut case is phenomenal at this price point. He’s gonna catch on soon that no one else is providing this level of craftsmanship for 200$
The bad:
I don’t like the lack of lather channels. I’m having to rinse after every two strokes and it’s killing the quiet ASMR vibe I enjoy. The head needs to chamfer at the corners. Everyone should be doing this. It’s a significant improvement especially under the nose and if it costs 20 bucks more in machining it’s worth the upcharge.
The verdict
This razor will appeal to those that appreciate blade feel. I got an extremely comfortable bbs both shaves. It won’t be my daily driver ( that’s my blackbird and smart helix) but I look forward to using it again. I’ll do a side by side with my Athena tomorrow.

How did they ship it? Did it make it to Jamaica processing yet?
In general, it will clear this weekend. You will get it mid next week.
Yeah, I was just being dramatic. Just got to NY Customs early this morning and so dependant on their volume it should be next week.
