Lambda razors

I have no dog in this fight but as someone on the outside looking in one thing that really bugs me about someone that puts in the time to make any razor whether it shaves good or not, it's the fact that they push a gaudy box on you as part of the deal and give you no option to purchase just the razor without the box!! I can't shave with the box and don't want it as it just takes up space I might or might not have. I know the presentation is nice and all but again the box does me no good and I don't want it... I passed on the Raw Shaving razor because you had to take the box as they wouldn't ship it without it.... Like I said to start, I have no dog in this fight but it was just something that came to mind and when someone said something about pricing I though maybe they could offer it without the $50 box and save someone some money on the purchase!! Just a thought I had...

I want the Athena the way the artisan intended from the gate, especially this particular razor, because it is a special razor

HOWEVER, I agree with muzicheads statement.  In fact, the moment the Athena gets to Razor #99 I would like to see the wood box never offered again and the Athena NOT numbered beyond #99. Wrap it in tissue, put it in a cardboard box and done

I think he will release Ares v2, soon.
It says a bit milder than v1 and slightly longer handle.

He had 4 Athena and 5 Ares V2 when I checked last...that was a good 15 hours ago.
Probably while yous guys was asleep.
I remember thinking LOOT is gonna be happy today

According to Lambda’s Facebook the Ares v2s were all taken up by his waitlist for the razor. Maybe some of the waitlist backed out and some razors were put up for sale, and maybe some more will be as Theo emails all the customers. I’m not certain if I was on the waitlist or not so he’s checking for me but he did say that the next batch of the Ares will be soon and will not take as long as his last few razor batches (which were around 3 months, I think).

Theo posted on Facebook earlier today that the response was amazing but, while most of the Athenas are allocated to his waitlist, he does still have some available. So if anybody wants one it might be wise to email Theo (lambda.razors@gmail.com) and ask him if you can buy one. Better than waiting for him to put them up for sale on the website and then miss out because of the frenzy.

As far as I know he doesn’t have Ares v2s available, but I guess he’s still going through the waitlist and confirming orders, so you never know. Either way, if you want one the most reliable course is to email Theo and add yourself to his waitlist.
