Yesterday I loaded up a Ladas blade into my Razorock Black Mamba. I have only ever used Ladas blades once before after receiving a pack in a blade sampler.
I started shaving, and remembered that I did enjoy Ladas blades, much like most of the other Russian made blades I have tried.
Then, I flipped the razor over as one side had become clogged with soap/hair. The next stroke did absolutely nothing but remove soap from my skin.
Was I not concentrating on the blade angle? Perhaps the nip of tequila I had earlier had been very potent?
Nope, sure enough, only one side of the razor blade had been sharpened, the other side was as dull as an ace of spades or queen of clubs.
Perhaps I got a blade made on the famous Russian factory "Monday morning or Friday afternoon" when the vodka is flowing and the partying starts early!
I'm not too bothered by it, but has anyone else experienced this?
