Picked up a tub of Thrice Great a few days ago, scent is very similar to Fine L'Orange Noir which is awesome. Citrus/orange with a touch of dirtiness, wonderful scent and the same L&L performance so many rant and rave about, but in all seriousness it is good stuff. and the bison formula is pretty unique.

Used Darkfall recently and it was excellent. Wish he had more product in the tub... I liked it that much... lol.

Good stuff. I'm buying more, no doubt about it.

Just picked up Dark Fall and Trismegistus hes having an awesome sale right now (20% off) so if you're on the fence or need a restock what better time than now.

Scott's Dark Fall is great this time of year.
Harmony & Marshlands served me well on an extended work trip to the warmth of Texas this past week.

L&L is my favorite soap maker (along with Mike's) these days.

How does L&L compare to others like Mikes, B&M, P&B, CRSW when it comes to cushion, slickness, and post shave feel? What is the texture of L&L in the jar?

I think L&L is a bit better in those areas than those you listed. Dont get me wrong, Mike's and B&M are among my favs. The soap is very soft. I find that Darkfall is a bit harder than Trismegistus. I used to not like soft soaps because I load/lather directly on the puck. L&L changed that. I load up, it's a paste at this point, then either lather in a bowl or on the face. It does like some water. For me, the extra effort pays off. Once the lather is ready....wow. Just my 2cents.

Mikes has significantly better post shave feel than L&L, I tested on my skin - used nothing after shaving.

Mikes and B&M are slicker than L&L, but i can't say that much slickness is needed.

L&L has similar cushion compared to CRSW.

As you can see YMMV Smile
Just get a sample from Maggards and test.

I actually jut got Puzzle. I couldn't tell you what it actually smells like. Pleasant. I thought I saw somewhere that today would be the note profile revealed. Haven't seen that officially though!
