Maybe I'm just being a grouchy old guy, but this seems just plain wrong to me.

I could understand maybe having logs that burn smelling like home-baked cookies...

And then folks coming over for a visit would ask, "Oh, are you selling your house?"

Yep. It's wrong. It's what I would describe as an invasive form of advertising. But I sure wouldn't want my house smelling like chicken. Burning wood is an insanely delicious smell. I suspect that if you burn enough of these so called "logs" your house will eventually smell like a restaurant after years and years of being in business. Ever smelled a restaurant when there aren't any customers in it? Ever smell your clothes after you've been working in a restaurant for 7 hours? I spent 10 years working as a busboy and waiter and can definitively say that smell is disgusting. KFC, and pretty much every other fast food chain, sell low quality food. Period. Yep. It's wrong.

One of the only things worse would be Eau de Closed Bar. I worked as a bartender in a bar, in fact a relatively clean and sanitary one, but wow, after closing time that place would really stink.

Yes.  I've smelled that smell as well.  Different but just as bad.
