KENSURFS REVIEWED OUR AWESOME NEW SHADOW SAFETY RAZOR ON WEDNESDAY & YESTERDAY I PUT HIS REVIEW TO THE TEST!
Decided to have some fun with this. Trusted shave reviewer, Kensurfs, took a chance using a Rapira blade in our SHADOW razor for his review. He said he hadn't used a Rapira blade in a very long time and although he had his doubts about it, in the end, the razor and blade combo gave him an absolutely flawless shave.
Flash forward to Saturday... I myself have never used a Rapira blade but I found some on sale on Amazon so I decided to see for myself what all the fuss was about and conduct my own Kensurfs type shave with the same razor and blade setup that he used... a sort of "Bensurfs" test, if you will ?
I used our own Shave It FŌM SHAVING SŌP No. 1: Bay Rum/Vanilla for my test, lathered by my Billy Goat Brushworks "Leftovers" synthetic brush and finished it all off with a splash of Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue.
I channeled my inner Kensurfs and in the end, I ended up having the same flawless shave he had! I mean, the SHADOW razor really is a joy to use and I just found it cool to do a mock up shave of his recent review to see for myself!
