JimmyH Since you now have multiple Wolfman and Karve plates, can you say how each plate from either one corresponds with the other? Like the 1.55 WR2 with which Karve plate etc, for example 1.55 feels like the C plate but shaves like the G plate, or something like that

I shaved with the C plate and thought it felt similar to what a CG Lv 1 plate would probably feel like. I've never shaved with one, but the C was about like a Lv 2, but not quite.

I'm going to try the D plate tomorrow evening and I'll try and focus on a comparison.

I've got Karve plates in F & G and they didn't approach the smoothness of the 1.55 WR2, though they were probably as efficient. TBH it's awhile since I shaved with either the F or G  and I'm going from memory.

At some point with the Karve I decided to try the E again, and found I always picked it up when I reached for the Karve. That is why I ordered the smaller plates.

I'm experimenting with a 'less is more' philosophy in DE shaving. Something that I heretofore hadn't really tried.

JimmyH I hope you enjoy your plates bud. That is really fast shipping actually too, especially for this time of year.

I shaved with the C last night, as I mentioned previously. I used a Feather 3rd time I'd used it. Shave was good.

Tonight I loaded a new Gillette Silver Blue into the D plate and the shave was exceptional.

I knew the moment I began my first pass that this is a great plate/gap for me. The C was good but sort of like the Timeless .68 it felt as if I had to work harder to get where I wanted to go.

The D was just right in blade feel and aggressiveness for a daily shaver. How it would be with 2 or 3 days growth remains to be seen, but the D is a stand out plate for me.

Nice to see that Karve is being Karve!! 8 days to parcel a package is just unacceptable!! Still can't see why anyone would want to buy from this guy? He just gives this industry a black eye...

Just wanted to let everyone know that times appear to be changing for the better. Also, the time for finishing and sending out the door are in line with what is stated on the website. So, bottle half full..

Thanks Ventastic for the update.

More than acceptable. No worries here at all. I just got a couple Karve’s for Christmas presents. Seven and eight days to New England from Edmonton on couple of orders as well. Great service in my book from Chris.

I have emailed Chris over  5 times. I haven’t received a reply yet. I have messaged him on Instagram and nothing. At this point, I don’t think he’ll be answering so oh well. I just wanted to update the email on my titanium preorder. I emailed him before switching my email, first email was about 3 months ago and last email about 3 weeks ago. Poor piss customer service for sure.
