Mine has been in Edmonton since the 15th and I don't understand it as I am only one province away. It should have arrived by now.
Oh, well. I can wait. Shy

My Karve Razor showed up on Friday but I didn't use it until last night as I was away.

The razor comes in a very simple box but well packed with the foam.

I got the 3.5" handle as that is my sweet spot for a handle size even with my larger hands.

The razor has very good weight to it along with the feels and build quality.

The Karve razor uses pegs to secure the blade and the blade felt very secure in the razor.

I got the B plate which is 0.73mm and right in the middle of the 5 blade gap options available. I'm not a fan of an aggressive razor but I do want a very efficient razor. This I found be be very comfortable with a touch of blade feel and it was very efficient. 2 pass shave left me very smooth and comfortable shave.

I know many people are always curious about if a razor can get under the nose and I had no issue getting the hair under my nose with the Karve razor despite the head looking pretty bulky.

I might be able to move up to the C plate and may see and even better shave but for me the B plate is great and could see a few of my other razors being sold.

Great pictures and review. So glad you like the razor. Mine is still at LA distribution center.

Mine has finally arrived in Vancouver and I should receive it, hopefully, today and I will shave with it starting, tomorrow, for a few weeks to see how it shaves. I'll offer my impressions after 3-4 shaves. Shy
By the way, the razor looks quite lovely in your photos.

Canada Post surely is funny in that you are much further away than I am from where this razor is manufactured, as opposed to me almost being neighbours, and you receive it before I do. Big Grin

The razor, finally, arrived, tonight and I had to use it for my head shave.
It was much more aggressive than the RazorRock Mamba I usually use for my nightly head shaves, but it was quite smooth considering its heavier weight compared to the Mamba's (I use a titanium handle with the latter, so it is fairly light in weight).
The razor is very well machined, it looks great, it has quite a bit of heft to it, and the pattern on the handle feels and looks extremely nice.
The only detraction that some folks might encounter is the extension of the blade at the ends of the razor head. It wasn't an issue for me, but I can see it being one for others as the protrusion is, relative to most modern DE razors, significant.

The photos that you see are of the C plate with the 3.5" handle.

Here are some photos I took, this evening, but, please, excuse the lighting as it isn't very good in the downstairs bathroom.  Shy

Thanks gentlemen for the great pics. Glad to hear it is more aggressive than the mamba, which plate did you use? Mine unfortunately is still sitting in Calgary.
