Rockwell calls their model 6 razors adjustable, so in that same sense, this can be considered an adjustable. However, when I hear the term “adjustable razor,” the first thing that comes to my mind is a razor that has a dial for adjusting settings on the fly.
(So I suppose it all just depends on how narrow or wide one’s definition of an adjustable is.)
I understand what you're saying, I have a slim and a Fatboy, keep them on 3 or 4. Might go higher just to see what it feels like. I really bought them just to have them.
To me the Rockwell would be a pain to adjust while shaving. Not knocking adjustables but to me I get the same shave with them as I do my nonadjustables.
After all this I will have to rest my 75 year old bones.

How about "Adaptable"?

Or "Interchangable" Heads and Handles.

I’m interested in seeing what people think of the different base plates. I would also like to see a polished version of this. I’ll have to keep an eye out.

Only if you shave above a smelter.   Big Grin

Well then it's lucky I don't normally make a habit of that!

Just ordered one plate D. Maybe I will get it by Christmas. Hope it is a little more aggressive than the Timeless Bronze

Plate D has to be way more aggressive than the Timeless bronze. Would love to see you post a review.

Razors to be shipped Monday December 11 (if everything goes okay) should arrive before Christmas. I am looking forward to it. Ordered plate D.

I was told by Chris that the B plate is quite similar to an EJ89, so I ended up ordering the C & D plates.

I just pre-ordered the Razor with D Plate and 3.5” Handle. If the B Plate is close to an EJ89, I’m hoping the D Plate will be more in line with the type of Shave I prefer. I was going to try to hold out until I heard some reviews, but I ended up looking at a bunch of pictures of the Razor on Instagram and ended up pulling the trigger. I’m excited to give this Razor a try when it arrives.
