Karve Shaving Co. A new DE Brass razor to market.

I’ve had no real desire for another razor that requires polishing which has made me hold off on the Karve up to this point. Now that there’s a stainless version I have to admit I’d really like to try one. Looks like it’d be a nice smooth shaver. Congrats to everyone that has one inbound.

Anyone else receive shipping notice yet? All orders were supposed to be shipped Friday and I still have not received a shipping notice.

After not getting my notice on Friday, I cancelled my order and requested a refund.

I understood that orders were going to go out on Friday. Not that all orders would be completed and sent.

It was that orders were to start shipping on Friday!!

Got my shipping notice this morning. They finally responded this morning to my emails and shipped all three orders together and refunded my shipping charge for
2 of the orders. All is good with the world. I just don’t think I will be purchasing from them again unless I get an assurance that things are actually in stock.

After a very long and frustrating wait, I finally received my Karve SS and all plates today. Next shave will be tomorrow. Think I will try the G SB plate first because I missed out on the brass G plate when it first came out.

I stopped by a shaving shop a couple of days ago and they had a Karve brass razor in stock.  I looked at it and it looks well made.  Its heavy like the Rockwell 6s and has that dull, bead blasted finish.  I've looked everywhere I can think of to learn how the razor is made but I can't find anything.  Can anyone tell me how the carve razor is made?  Is it CNC machined, MIM or cast?

It’s cnc machined.

Tried the G plate and got a very efficient shave better than the OC F plate without any real loss in smoothness. There is similar blade feel throughout the shave. It can hold its own with other efficient razors.
