I’m not sure where the original RazoRock Black Mamba fits in on that chart. It’s black anodized stainless steel and predates the plain stainless mambas by a few years. I haven’t used it in a while but it’s a pretty mild shaving razor. Also slightly different in that the two blade registration studs are on the base plate instead of the more common location on the top cap.

Delivery from Italian Barber on Friday of my new RazoRock Lupo 58 with HD Handle
This is my second RazoRock razor, the first being a Game Changer .68-P, and the quality of their products is outstanding.
The Lupo 58 is a brilliant razor, for me its just right in the balance between efficiency and aggression, the first shave was bbs with no nicks or weepers, just a fantastic shave.
My new favourite razor!

Here is the most recent chart from Razorock listing their razors from the most to the least aggressive:

Confused2  I don't quite agree with that chart. To me the "Old Type" seems more aggressive than the "SLOC", which I would move down to "Mild-Medium".

I would bump the "Hawk Aluminum" up to at least "Medium Aggressive".

If the "Mission" head is exactly like the Edwin Jagger head that it resembles, then "Mild-Medium" seems right.

I feel differently about the GC 68 & .84 SB. I would move them down the chart a bit to milder myself. I definitely don't feel the .84 approaches medium/aggressive. I know wsome people may feel that way, I just don't. I would figure Medium at best for the .84 and Mild/Medium for the .68. At least for me.
Agree 100%. I am a mild shave guy and the 68 84SB fits this. Medium seems a bit 'aggressive' in categorization.

Today I pitted the 1.05-P against 7 days growth with a 1st use Parker Platinum blade. Impressive results all the way around. The RR with the Parker was smooth, blade feel was there but by no means overwhelming, and the first pass was quite clean. I have no idea the qualification for a SAS shave, but by the looks in my poor ass bathroom lighting, I could have rinsed and left if I needed to. I didn't look like I needed a shave. I did do my second pass and some touchup buffing. A smooth, damn near BBS (I have a problem with it feeling BBS when my face is wet, then not quite so after everything dries down), irritation, nick free shave. Received some light feedback from the alcohol based AS that dissipated quicker than it set in. All in all agreat shave. I think razorock really hit it out of the park with this plate. This is the GC SB plate I wanted. The .68 & .84 just weren't enough for me. This is a perfect combination of efficiency while still maintaining smoothness and comfort.
