As promised - Proraso made an entrance for the shave this morning. Wonderful drama free shave.

Everybody. is entitled to their opinion, however, I think Proraso is a decent shaving cream.  I used Proraso Red this morning with an Omega 1049 boar in my Dirty Bird scuttle followed by Thayer's, GD Post Shave Serum and Fine Sandalwood splash.  I'm feeling and smelling good right now  Happy2

I hadn't used the DB scuttle for a while and I find that I don't really like it.  Its heavy and the lather chamber is fairly deep and has a prominent overhanging rim which I find interferes with the whole process.  I've also mentioned that I stopped using that scuttle with my better brushes in the past because of its aggressive texturing.  The texturing helps with lathering and also accelerates the break in of boar brushes but I figured it might also damage badger bristles.  So, its not looking like I'll be using that thing for the foreseeable future.  This is a journey and things that worked well on a daily basis in the past don't always stand up that well to new or different processes.

Hey Nikos,

Nice to see you on this forum !

While I personally enjoy the Proraso red cream as well as the Proraso blue, I never found the green was nourishing enough and provided enough protection during my shave.

The green is The Classic and has worked for years and years for millions of Gents, but it’s far down on my list over best shaving creams & soaps out there.

I’m not a snob any longer.
I’m just being honest.
And I respect your opinion 110%

Hello Claus,

I'm glad I hear from you.

I understand what you mean. Fortunately all Proraso creams work really good for me and I can barely detect any difference on the performance of these.

I hope you and your beloved ones are safe in Denmark.

-edit-
P.S. Just a heads up. I still haven't heard back from Pannacrema. I guess the guys have more important things to deal with at the moment, but I thought I'd let you know.

Nope, just stating my opinion. Sorry you're mad that it doesn't line up with yours. I'll gladly admit to being an artisan soap snob. Why would I ever use a product like Proraso when there are so many other options available that are far superior in scent and performance? If you enjoy it, that's fine, I don't care. I can still say it sucks.
