It's great hearing everyones thoughts and seeing some pics. Keep them coming!

I do think we are on the exact opposites on the preferences, I generally prefer very soft knots with a tiny amount of scrub.

I was thinking that too lol, if we could somehow switch bundles I bet we would both be really happy.
Been a little less than 2 weeks but I'm ready to switch to another brush so I'm going to give my thoughts a bit early. It seems my bundle of hair varies a fair amount from the one Navitimer has so keep that in mind if you decide to order one YMMV.
If you like a very soft knot you would like this one, I get almost no scrub when using mine and I wouldn't say its floppy but its close. It has decent backbone but it doesn't take much effort to get a complete splay and I would suggest not doing that with this brush because I have a feeling it will doughnut easy. The backbone it currently has is holding well so far but only time will tell.
Quality wise the knot is A+, while the feel of the hair is not my usual preference the quality of the hair and the knot setting is great. I currently have only shed 1 maybe 2 hairs so far on this brush and I'm kind of surprised, because the hairs are soft enough that at times it feels like the soap is tugging on them when tub loading. I have the same experience with my T1 knot as that brush has maybe shed 5 hairs total, not that shedding more than that is a problem in general. I am just always impressed when a brush sheds only a few hairs over the first bunch of uses. It cleans up nicely and is a very unique looking badger knot, but I would suggest avoiding using anything with vanilla or dark colored oils.

Joe, kooshman7 I hope your mom is doing better since you mentioned it earlier in the thread. I had this thread pop up in my head. I know they mentioned back on IG a 2nd release. Rereading Itsallgravy post above on how he describes his model. Sounds like it has me wondering what model I would want to go with. Any chance you can add some photos of how your brush is looking Joe?
Yeah I'll do photos. She's doing better from the hip issues. Can walk now. Just seems to be one thing after the other though. We both got covid back on the 8th, and while not testing positive any longer, it's taking a long time for the congestion issues to leave me. I did notice that as well that they now have a softer model and cheaper to boot.

Finally received the second handle so I can decide on which one to set the knot in.
I'm not quite sure which one I will go with yet. The knot is still compact from having the strings around it. I had left it like that until today and decided it was too distracting to see which I liked it in better. I don't think I can go wrong either way. The multicolored wood was the delay. It came with a bonus of a synthetic knot should I want to put that in one of the two. The first handle is small wood chips mixed in with a clear to light blue resin.
