Still in prototype stage but, they have a few samples out being tested over in Europe. The designer and machinist is based in Poland named Monocero. I saw this in another forum and just did a bit more research. I emailed them directly and I was told it's made of Stainless Steel and will be offered with the stand as a whole. It will be limited to a 100 unit run. Looks like a potential release sometime in September at an estimated $130 or just a bit more. No other details if more will be produced.

I've included a link but, it's more to a Polish shave forum with more pics and a discussion of the razor. The maker does not have an official website from my research as of this posting.

I'm intrigued to be honest. Love the handle design.....

I need some knurling. It doesn’t have to be the entire thing, just some of it.

I would agree. It looks slippery.

Yes, it definitely could use some knurling or dimpling if the steel is passivated.

there are a number threads on that forum but only a couple reviews....one a 7/10 for aggression, one putting it between 6S plates 4/5, and another saying relatively mild on a scale of DE89 to R41. Weight is 104g. Also the thread below if you want the back story or want to pose questions to what seems like someone involved with the design.

WOW Gus GlazedBoker as the most interesting part seems to be that the members of the forum worked together to design, fund and make the prototype - a cooperative group effort

Absolutely. I didn't even know that the thread existed across the street at B&B until surfboat brought it up. I went over and read up on it. A real good read on what the polish shave forum and some members collectively brought the idea to fruition. I've had a chat via emails with Mariusz and he's a wonderful gent.

Keeping my eyes glued to this project and hoping it becomes a reality for them.....

I'm not crazy about the looks of that handle...if it kept that wider shape from the tip to the bottom, it'd be pretty nice.

the general SE razor handle has no knurling on it and it wasn't as bad as people would of expected it to be, myself included.

someone invite the razor maker to DFS!
