All you can do is try and see what works best for you. I actually do Like the Parker blades. If I'm not mistaken, based on what at RayClem has on his spreadsheet, they are quite likely rebranded derby blades. Though I might personally suspect that if they are rebranded Derby blades, I would think that they were the Derby Premium as I got really good shaves out of the Parker Premium. Good luck! Look forward to hearing about your experience.

Razor came early this am so I can do a shave. Looks nice, handle right at 3.75 and 4.0 overall.

Nice. I like when that happens! i like their rose gold. I would be more likely to buy the Variant OC if that was available. Hope the shave is great!!!

I have a Parker semi-slant with the graphite colored handle. That is a great option as well for some of their razors.

Razor came early yesterday so I did a shave with the usual on day or more wait. Looks beautiful and with a new Parker blade it gave a very close zero irritation shave. The real test will be with several days growth which I feel I'll enjoy even more. The shave was equal to my Tech and 1967 Super Speed. I like this razor a lot.

I have a feeling this razor likes a sharp blade. Reason I say that is because the 2 pass is super smooth. The first pass not so much.

I've had good shaves with them. I was surprised.

Parkers were better than the 7 O'clock SS Russians. I was thinking this razor needs a Parker-like blade. Maybe the Derby Premiums or Silver Stars?
