I have been getting 6 good 2 1/2 pass shaves from a nacet. I d ok hand strop the blade before the first use and after each use. I do this with every blade I use. I am really likening the nacet in my gillette black beauty 84.
Happy shaves

I'll always get more than 10. Depending on the razor, I may get 20 or more 3 pass shaves. Other razors I'll only get 12 - 15 shaves out of the blade.

My current Nacet has provided 13 wonderful shaves. I expect to get at least 5 or 6 more shaves. I usually can count on getting at least 15 shaves from a Nacet.

I’ve only been able to get a couple but I think that’s more a result of these blades just not being for me. They cause quite a lot of irritation and a couple of weepers each shave.

These are second tier blades for me so I get 6-7 shaves (2 pass) before I move on to another blade

Are you handstropping? Seems to help

No it doesn't. It actually accelerates wear of the PTFE coating, the very thing that imparts smoothness.

Well, there you go. Perhaps the PTFE is the issue for my skin as handstropping demonstrably improves the shave of Nacets when used as does corking Timors, both from the very first usage of a new blade

Well, we had a Gillette engineer with 40+ yrs. of experience tell us so on another forum.. Perhaps he is wrong and you are correct.   Rolleyes
