This is what I'm up to.

This is what I was afraid might happen.

I am no good at math and already we are deeply involved in geometry!
I'm in trouble now.

Lets throw an added complexity into the mix, while WTG and ATG are clear, XTG could go in at least 2 directions couldn't it? Then there's the diagonal XTG, its endless!

Yes. You are right.

Now we must add a crosswalk to the complexity.

Oh woe!

Odd man out here in that I usually do a 1½ pass shave. Once WTG and then just a pass on my cheeks XTG. I have to do some buffing on my chin and under my lower lip as that is IMO the hardest place to shave on my extremely handsome face. Wink Rarely I will shave ATG on my cheeks, but it's actually not really worth it. After all, I will have to shave tomorrow and I merely want to look presentable and avoid irritation as well as ingrown hairs.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I humbly bow to you.

Perfection is such a rarity.
Something I will never achieve.

But, as Katisha in G % S's Mikado happily said: "My right elbow is a piece of art."
(Or something like that)

Interesting. Just today I’ve been wondering if I could get away with this. (I usually do two full passes.) I guess the only way to find out is to try. Smile

For BPMan, it seems to be shaving the cheeks a second time. For me, I’d probably do some spot touch-ups and call that my half-pass.
(Although shaving the neck just once and the rest of the face twice would make sense also for me, since the neck is where my skin is most sensitive.)

I did 4 passes with a DE when I started out wetshaving. Now it's just a 2 pass straight razor shave going WTG for the first one and ATG for the second one. Even when not using a straight I still follow the same 2 pass shave routine.

I never realized shaving wa so complex. Just as I am learning to really enjoy it.

Ah well. I have erred before.

I had better try a beard for the third time.

What do I need? Oil for rust, squeeks & shine. Shampoo. Ribbons. Flea powder. Scissors. Lawn mower. Rake. Bib.
Dispense with? Tie. Lucky charm on neck chain. Scarf. Western kerchief. Bolo string tie.
