For DE and Gem style SE blades I buy them by the 100 pack since they are more economical that way.

Not that there aren't other good blades to be had I only use 1 type of DE blade which is the Bic Chrome Platinum. For Gem blades primarily the stainless steel ptfe coated blades but I do have a few carbon steel blades I got from CVS that I also like to use.

Short answer I have 100 or less depending how many left from each 100 pack and 10 or less on the carbon steel gem blades.

On injector blades I have 1+ keys of both single edge Schick and Personna blades. I also have 1 key still of the double edge Schick II twin injector blades. I also have a few unopened vintage injector blades packs in the original blister or boxes that I use. Vintage could be anywhere from 70s to 90s with those blades. They shave just as well today as they would have back then in the same razor and the edges don't degrade with time. Unlike opened packs there isn't any possibilities of the edges being dulled or other factors. Anything made from the 60s onward are in the main stainless steel and coated so rust is not an issue either.

For DE blades, the Personna Reds are my goto with any new razor, or when I want an easy shave. Next would be Nacets, Gillette Silver Blue, and the German Wilkinson Swords.

I am new to SE shaving, but right now, the yellow Schick are preferred in the injector, and Proline in the AC style.

To answer the quantity question, I probably have 200-300 miscellaneous blades.
