Has anyone here used any honeysuckle-scented splash aftershave or balm? I'm curious about it. I love the smell of blooming honeysuckle when I'm out walking, but I'm not really sure if I would like it on my face. What I could find on line includes the following:

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Son of Honeysuckle Aftershave-Cologne

Cake & Barrel Honeysuckle Aftershave Balm
Honeysuckle - CakeAndBarrel

The Mod Cabin Honeysuckle Aftershave Balm
Honeysuckle Aftershave Balm | The Mod Cabin Grooming Co.

I'd be interested in hearing of experience with any of these.
Thanks.

You may be able to get an approximation by using Pre de Provence bath soap in Linden scent during your shower.  The soap is excellent and the scent is heavenly.  You could get a sense of it on your skin.

Hello my friend.

I happen to have some Honeysuckle essential oil along with some others I ordered on the way. I could make you a sample of a straight Honeysuckle Skin Food Splash so you can try it.

Let me know John glad to help

PdP Linden soap is excellent.
I don’t understand the connection to Honeysuckle.
Are they the same?

I don't think they are the same.  However I find the scents similar.

Honeysuckle is a vine - https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamen...e-care.htm

Linen (also called basswood) is a tree - https://www.uky.edu/hort/American-Linden

Honeysuckle essential oil is very hard to obtain and I’ve had a a couple in the past that have been stepped on ( diluted with a carrier oil such as Jojoba oil. I’ve only been able to get it unmolested from one supplier in Italy. The synthetic Honeysuckles are what’s most commonly used because the real essential oil is so hard to get.

PdP Linden is my favorite bath soap. Kind of similar to honeysuckle. I grew up in the sticks and smelled honeysuckle every day of my youth in the summer. The PAA is ok, but as Frank mentioned - honeysuckle is mostly quite synthetic smelling in current offerings.

I have been trying to find a good EDP/EDT with a real honeysuckle vibe. Frank, count me in on something real. Glad to pay accordingly. Your Sandalwood is fantastic. Almost done with my third bottle.
