Package received today, not shipped per the rules, but it did arrive. I know I will be the bad guy but gentlemen, if you sign up for a pass around, remember someone has donated a razor to try, and some are very expensive. Some other person has put a lot of time in to set up the pass around, Please follow the rules or just don’t sign up if you don’t like them.

SOTN with the Homelike Hummingbird. Based on having the Start and Taiga I picked out the 1.5 SB baseplate. 
Pre-shave Hot Shower
Blade 2nd use Gillette 7’Oclock Black
Brush Lutin  with DG B6
Soap ETHOS Lavender
AS ETHOS Lavender
1st pass WTG. 
I definitely could feel the blade but with some adjustments I found for me this razor works better favoring the top cap. The razor took down most of my beard. 
2nd Pass ATG
I was definitely reminded by blade feel if I left the angle favoring the top cap. Smooth pass, rinse and I had a few more areas to touch up than usual which surprised me based on how the shave felt. I relathered and did a combo ATG/XTG and was rewarded with a smooth irritation free BBS. 
Impressions
I LOVE the handle, great grip, weight and length, the fit and finish on this razor appeared top notch although the Top cap is showing some wear and tear from the pass around.  This is a very well made razor and the exposed blade tabs were not an issue for me, however, this razor would not break my top ten. With the amount of blade feel I would have expected better efficiency. My RS10, Yates precision, CG level 2 or 3, Timeless .95, H&S PO76 and WR2 Are all more efficient with less or much less blade feel. This is just my experience. 
I soaked the razor parts I used in Barbicide and will let it dry, after using a microfiber towel, overnight and will ship it to jbreakfield Tmw or Saturday. I will PM the tracking number
