Has anyone tried? If so, thoughts?

Love the SE pivoting concept with magnet, similar to Twig/Leaf but made in Montana, USA

I have one. Nice little razor. It uses a half DE. The head pivots. The razor is aluminum so very light. On milder side for me but relatively efficient. Very easy to shave against the grain, a litmus test for me. The magnet holds the blade securely.

It’s my favorite pivoting razor and I’ve tried them all. Has just the right amount of resistance when it pivots and is efficient enough like a cartridge it’s meant to replicate.

Would this be a good razor for the Estrogen crowd?

Probably yes in terms of the shave. But breaking the de in half may not be something they are keen to do.

Do you like it better than the One Blade (assuming you have tried that one)? Thanks

Yes, mainly because of versatility that the DE format allows. It's like comparing apples and oranges. With the Oneblade only one shave was meant for the FHS blades it was intended to use and they cost a lot more with limited availability. Gem blades on the other hand need to be modified in order for it to fit in and there was always a slight bend in the blade when placed in, which annoys me. The Oneblade would have been better if it were designed to use DE blades in the first place.
