Freddy Very nice collection of pens! I mostly use a Sailor ProGear for day to day life with some Sailor Seiboku or Souboku ink. Then I have a Pelikan M600 that I had turned into a stub, a Sailor special nib (cross-concord), and a nice modern flex from Montblanc as my fancier pens that mostly live at home.

Eric, as you can tell from the photos, most of my pens (the photos don't show all of them) are inexpensive but I do have a few more upmarket and vintage pens that stay at home, such as a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck 146 and the vintage ring top Conklin Crescent that can be seen in the photos.  My everyday carry is a demonstrator Kaweco Sport and I keep about eleven pens inked up on my desk.  That is way too many but I enjoy the various ink colors when jotting notes.

Freddy I love the ability to change up the ink colors. I usually gravitate towards different shades of blue (especially the blues from Sailor).

I have one pen inked in basic black and one in basic blue, as well as an Esterbrook desk set filled with basic brown.  After that, the gloves come off. Big Grin  I use orange, purple, turquoise, green, various shades of red, gray, etc.  I just wish there were certain things that came in fountain pen friendly paper like check registers.

Here is the Esterbrook #407 inkwell desk pen set.  I always have it filled with either Sheaffer Skrip Red or Sheaffer Skrip Brown ink.  It's perfect for when I just need to jot a quick note.

As a fountain pen fan, I alway have 3 inked up. My daily driver is a Lamy 2000, my favorite pen a Pelican 805 limited edition in black and grey stripes and the sailor pro gear is always at arms length.

I used to have a Pilot Vanish, the nib is gorgeous but my pen had the bad habit of drying the nib after 2 days not being used and the ink capacity left a lot to be desired apart from having the worse converter out there.

Inks... I tend to gravitate around shades of dark blue.

My name is Eric. I’m from Long Island, NY. I started wet shaving in 2015. Have been playing with different brushes and soaps from the get go, but only fell deep into razors last spring and started participating in forums (rather than just visiting and learning from the discussions) even more recently. Excited to be here!

Hey, my name is Eric, too! (or am I Eric 1?!) And I started in November 2015. Weird, eh?

Welcome!
