Hello
I’m new to this forum and I’m enjoying all the information being shared. I’m new to DE razors but not brushes and shave soaps- been doing that for around 40 years. As I’m sure most have done, I’m going through the process of finding out which razors I like, so many choices, so few shaves.

Welcome Brad.

Which razor to use? There’s the million dollar question. You’re probably going to spend a bunch of money and try a bunch of razors and maybe eventually find one or two you like. It seems almost mandatory.  I’ve got a pile of razors but I’ll tell you, I always come back to the Rockwell 6s. It’s ugly but shaves great. Sometimes I think of the money I could have saved if I’d bought that razor first, but I know I wouldn’t have saved any money because I still would have bought all those other razors. It’s how our brain works. Always looking for better even when we already have it.  Enjoy.

Ouch, I’m trying to keep my purchases below $100 for now.
lol, I’m sure my quest will get a bit expensive. I’ve settled on a Thorn and Henson mild for now, nice razors that are doing me right for now.

I’m kidding there are only a handful in the world.

Razor Rock Game Changer  ,68 and .76 plates to step up.

I also would have  Merkur 23C in my den (more efficient than the Henson +).

Also a fan of the Yaqi Ghost Ti .70 which can be had for 100-110 dollars new (when on sale).
