Used my Ti aggressive this morning. There's a touch more blade feel than the medium aluminum, but still feels very mild to me. Not quite efficient enough for my taste, but better than the aluminum. The weight and balance is great, but I would prefer more feedback from the head. If you like super smooth razors with little blade feel you'll probably love it.

Today marks my first shave with the Henson Ti (medium). As I expected, it was smooth, effective, and close. It's hard to judge a razor on one use, but this was a great first outing.

In my PMs with one of the guys at Henson, I was told this might be a bit closer cutting (tolerances?) and smoother than the Aluminum. I can absolutely tell that feels true with this shave. I hope every shave is as good as this one, because I think I officially have the 'one razor for me'. [Image: b752c2f2a8da657c2759b0c7359d972e.jpg]

This was the main reason why I didn't preorder the Titanium as I wanted to see what a more aggressive plate would feel like as I, also, find the Medium much too mild for my face shaves. I still hope they release this aggressive plate in aluminum so that I can try it for my head shaves.
Thanks for your impressions.

I got my aggressive version today and immediately shaved with it using the supplied Astra blade. Excellent results. Smooth and efficient enough for me to use on a daily basis. Blade feel and efficiency clearly more than the medium aluminum version. I like it and well worth it.

I sure hope they release an aggressive, stainless version someday. I'd be all over that!

First shave with the Henson titanium aggressive version. I used a fresh Feather blade. First pass WTG was with the handle turned a half turn back. That was great and seemed very efficient with nice blade
feel but still smooth. For my next ATG and XTG passes I had the handle tightened all the way and the shave seemed very mild but still pretty efficient. Overall, I like this razor after my first shave but I will have a better handle on it after a couple more uses. The finish on the gunmetal version looks really good. I really like the look of the brass post on the gunmetal top cap. I also love that the handle twist is the same on the titanium version as it is on the aluminum version from what I have read. It’s definitely a smooth shaver but with more blade feel when the handle is opened a half turn. I will report more after my next shave with it.

Living on the edge
which WR2 wolfman gap does the henson ti aggressive come closest to?

It’s been a while since I’ve used the Henson Ti +++, but since I had 2.5 days worth to mow down I figured why not?

Initially, I found that I had to be much more careful with this aggressive version versus the medium one. Perhaps it was a bad blade I’d used in mine, as today’s shave was much much better and could fly around my face with no worries.  These London Bridges are very sharp, but still smooth. They work for me and they really shone in the Henson.

2 passes with some touch ups and no issues at all! An all around great shave and very very close. We’ll see how the length lasts in comparison to the BrassBird I’ve been using lately.

I’ve been shaving with the medium version this week. It’s so different but the shaves are very very good.
