I was wondering about the absence of Hemingway Accoutrements from the marketplace. It’s a great scent. The shaving cream performs reasonably well too but you really want it for the scent.  In any case, all is explained here

So if you’re looking for Hemingway Accoutrements it’s now called Finca Vigia and sold under the Barberry Coast banner. I had suspected the disappearance of the Hemingway branded product might have had something to do with licensing of the name and it appears that was the case. Interesting particularly for artisans considering naming products after historical personalities. The rights to personalities’ images are usually held in the estate and if there’s value they’re going to want a license in place and there will be a fee. Intellectual property law will apply.
