HELP selecting a timeless razor

I have had an itch for a timeless razor for a while. I have a birthday in a couple of weeks so what better time.

My current daily driver is an ATT Kronos R1. I really enjoy this razor and am looking for something with a comparable blend of efficiency and comfort. I am a daily shaver so I am not interested in the OC. I am considering the SB or the scalloped baseplate. My primary question regards the blade gap (0.68 vs 0.95). Which would provide a similar experience to the R1. I know 0.68 more closely approximates the R1 blade gap. But, many have opined that the 0.95 is quite comfortable.

Please share your experiences.

I'm curious also. I looked into it, but don't think I'm going to pull the trigger at this time (Probably getting the ATT Calypso). I know which handle and head I would like, but I am curious about the blade gap as well.

The only comment I can make is that I use the Att M1 and the .68 on the Timeless. if you like the R1, you might do fine with the .95.

I have a Calypso R1 and a Timeless OC .95. I do have more blade feel with the Timeless but I find it very comfortable to use on a daily basis. In fact I will be using it this entire month. I will say with the larger blade gap and the increased blade feel, I do find myself going a little slower and paying attention more. Hopefully a full month of daily use will allow me to overcome this urge.

A few months ago I acquired a polished Timeless with .68 and .95 SB base plates. From my experience the .68 feels very similar to the R1, whereas the R1 is still a bit more aggressive. The .95 is halfway between the R1 and H1.

I never used Timeless handles. The handle that works best for me with the Timeless head is my shortest handle - 72mm UFO Colibry

I own a couple of first gen BB - with sharper corners and base plate edges. I enjoy that "pseudo" aggressive face feel because my BBs have a serious "face-presence" but they are perhaps some of the least blood-thursty razors I own. The timeless works well for me too, though with a little less efficiency when using the .68 and some more irritation and micro cuts when using the .95.

I also prefer the BB design, though when properly polished and paired with a nice/right handle, the Timeless is a beautiful piece of contemporary "applied" art and an efficient razor. I hope it helps to make your choice!

I'm also deciding on which Timeless to go for. I'm leaning toward the .68 gap, since I have that frustrating combination of thick whiskers but sensitive, nick-prone skin. For reference, I like my Wolfman OC (standard gap) a lot, but it CAN bite me if I'm careless. Whereas my OneBlade or AS-D2 are easy-going, though the AS-D2 takes a bit more attention for it to be fully efficient.

I recently got the ATT M1 Calypso, and I love how kind it is to my skin, but I'm realizing it's also leaving more stubble behind than I prefer.

Given all this, will the .68 be both skin-friendly yet more efficient than the M1 or the AS-D2? Also, I don't care for the look of the scalloped head, but would go for it if it really makes a difference in the shave...
