My name just came up for a Wolfman order.  I already have a Ti brushed WR1 .67 SB - my favorite razor.  I want to try another metal - I can't decide between bronze and copper.  or should i get another ti?  thoughts?

I just used my new Wolfman copper SB razor for the first time, and for me - with excellent lather and a great vintage blade - it was extraordinarily smooth, rivalling the Paradigms and noticeably smoother than either SS or titanium, and if my memory is accurate, smoother than the antique brass one I used to have.

I'm just guessing, but it may be due in part to the fact that I have a hand tremor, and the weight of the copper stabilizes it more than the light titanium does. But I think I recall the copper Carbon SB razor being a bit smoother than the titanium Wolfman too.

hey john, i have a tremor too. maybe the bronze would be just as good as the copper if it's a weight thing.

Copper is my vote. I love the patina I'm getting on my copper Karve. Although with the Wolfman polish, I'd be tempted to keep it that way.

I love the bronze. For some years I accumulated and used Mauviel tin lined copper cookware. Beautiful stuff but it does turn color if you don't keep after it. I tended to let it go. Polished it up when I sold it and went back to SS pans. If you find the old copper plumbing pipe patina attractive that might not be an issue. My WR1 bronze is smooth as silk (SB) and the basic polish is gorgeous.

All my Wolfman DEs are in SS or Ti but when I got my WR3 I went with the bronze, a beautiful looking razor, I think between the copper and bronze it's really down to what you like the esthetics of, both metals will patina over time so more maintenance but the looks are gorgeous

Not part of the equation probably but isn't copper quite a bit softer?
Seems like when I polish the c
Karve it didn't take very much elbow grease to do, I sold it since
