Scott only sells knots mounted in handles whether of his manufacture, collaborators or your supplied handle to the best of my knowledge. Presuming you were the purchaser of the knotting service or can identify the purchaser and date purchased, Scott should be able to review his records to provide you a batch number. Recommend you reach out to him with a request; good guy if a little delayed in response due to schedule.
Alternatively, it quite possible a few people on here or Reddit, familiar with his knots could identify the batch by undertaking a lathering and shave. Combined with an accurate knotted date, it going to be relatively easy to ID the knot batch by its characteristics for those experienced.
My recollection is that November 2017 was in midst of the original (and since ongoing) B3 release. B3 is a very unique knot in the DG line and anybody with minimal experience would immediately recognize the feel upon it touching the face lathered. However, it is possible you picked up a late held over B2 or very early B4 - again these knots so unique for that period that they could easily be discerned provided your recollection of the timeframe purchased and installed directly by Scott correct.
