Freddy, don't get me started on buses! We'll be here all night. Probably more chance of me being able to retire than it being 90 degrees in Glasgow though. You'll be able to use the "new" Edinburgh tram system when you visit again.

I wanted to use it when I was there last September but the friend I stay with isn't keen.  Someday.  As for Glasgow buses, I've only ridden them a few times.  I'm more familiar with Lothian Region (Edinburgh) buses where they almost never show up when it's raining, which is A LOT in Edinburgh.

Don't forget the ice cold wind that attacks your face like paint stripper. Yeah there is a reason they built a castle there!

Good to see another shaver from the UK out and about here. By the way speaking as a guy in his 30's what is this thing you speak of called retirement? Is this another one of those things like Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny, cashing in a pension or a punctual train?
