Hi All,

As a 50 something ish guy and new to DE wet shaving, sick and tired of paying the ever increasing cost of second rate plastic razors, I purchased a Merkur 34c razor complete with Merkur blade, Palmolive stick soap and a Wilkinson brush. Will be buying a selection of blades and probably a better brush, an Omega 49 possibly. Either way will be posting looking for advice, best place to buy and what products to buy. I’ll try to post in the correct forum so please look out for it and any reccomendations gratefully accepted. Also useful would be where to buy my stock from, any useful websites. As yet I don’t have a shave mug/scuttle and am unsure as to what to buy so again any advice most welcome.
