Hello everyone!
I just wanted to introduce myself. I figured it was somewhat rude to be posting without doing this.
My name is Jon, and I live and work in southern Alberta. I've been a knife nut since I was a kid (buying, trading, sharpening) and got into wet shaving about 8 or so years ago. Still a cartridge razor, but at least proper lather. I eventually made my way into DE shaving, but knew that with my love of knives, straights would be for me. Sure enough, I immediately fell in love with them. Honing, scale making, all of it.
Apart from these obvious hobbies, I play quite a bit of music and enjoy a good game of racquetball (followed of course by a good meal and drink).
Thanks for taking the time to read my blurb. Happy shaving everybody!
Jon
