My name is Kevin and I may have a problem. I like AV. I like the menthol, the scent and the great burn. I also really like the fact that it is both affordable and readily available at most grocery/drug stores in the area. The only thing I don't like is the plastic bottle.

Anybody else share an appreciation for AV?

Yeah brilliant stuff. Got the European version last year which was nice enough but the USA version is so much better. More menthol and a richer scent.
Like you said really cheap and much underated In my opinion. Got the American stuff delivered for next to nothing.

I completely agree- thanks for the tip on the European AV. I didn't know they were different formulas and had thought of ordering after I use this current bottle.

Will hold off as I very much like the menthol blast!

Great stuff, but on me it doesn't last very long at all.  I was pointed to this in another thread here by another member.  I won't buy AV again because frankly this is spot on and last all day scent wise, it really does have staying power and leaves my face feeling great.  Plus it has the menthol kick to boot..  Unlike AV a little of this goes a long way.  That being said I have cold spices made by the same Artisian and I still like Old Spice better.  So, not in every case is an artisans take better than the classic, but I think here it most definitely is.

I do enjoy a splash of good 'ol AV Blue! I dislike the plastic bottle too, and whenever I splash some into my hands it drips all down the side of the bottle and makes a mess on my counter. I don't have that issue with any other kind of bottle.
