With Valobra now confirmed a closed factory, and all USA vendors are out of stock of full size refill pucks of C&S No. 88 shave soap... I am wondering who in USA might be interested in doing a group buy from the Czech & Speake site (UK)?

They have flat rate shipping of £75 (hence, this group buy!!)... So if we get some of us to buy 15 soaps combined, we can split the shipping cost, and get shipping down to £5/per puck. Plus the cost of the puck is £20 (non-VAT).

Then of course, I would need to ship to each of you. We can work out those specifics via PM. I'd prefer doing flat rate USPS, since it's really easy and they provide the packaging.
So, we are talking about $40 for your first puck, and $32 for every puck thereafter.
(£25 for the puck and shipping from UK = $32 per puck, plus $8 for USPS shipping to you).

Anyway, wondering if there is any interest?

I'll take the first 4 pucks to get this party started.

Let's set a deadline of Friday June 12 at Noon, Mountain Time and see where we are at.

Hey Matt,

Thanks for doing this!

I’d be interested in 4 x 88 and an O&C.

I bought a couple of 88s from Phil before he sold out and have at least one more, so I’m fairly well fixed.

Cheers, Steve

There is a US site as well that lists the soaps as being in stock. Not sure that you will actually get some if you order or get an email later that cancels your order and says no stock available.
